I have recently become interested in Infrared Photography and I had a bit of trouble finding good ways to post-process my IR photos. So, here is my method to editing those starkly ‘red/magenta’ photographs

Infrared Post-Processing
This is a really simple trick to creating an ordinary photograph with some text into an engaging image. I have already done this in the GIMP: how to make see through text to image in gimp!
See-Through Text Effect in Photoshop
I have always been intrigued by the ‘Mac Screen Saver’ with the Paper Sculptures, so I decided to attempt the effect my self in a similar way. It took a while to figure out how to set things up, but I eventually created some interesting lighting angles and paper curls with a simple idea and method! Here is a short overview on how to create the effect and a little post-processing in gimp .
